Weekend Direct Care Worker (Male Caregiver)
Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Direct Care Worker to provide 1:1 supervision for a client who may display aggressive behaviors, including property destruction, and has epilepsy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous 1:1 supervision and remain within arm’s reach or maintain visual contact at all times.
- Monitor for safety concerns and respond appropriately to behavioral episodes.
- Follow the client’s care and behavior support plans.
- Assist with daily living activities while maintaining a safe environment.
- Observe and report any changes in behavior or health, including seizure-related concerns.
- Complete required documentation.
Requirements
- Experience working with high-behavior clients and/or individuals with mental health or developmental disabilities.
- Comfortable managing aggressive behaviors and maintaining safety during challenging situations.
- Able to provide constant supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
- Current CPR & First Aid certification.
- Updated TB screening and medical clearance.
- Must complete required CMH certifications within 30 days of hire.
Desired Experience
Experience with 1:1 behavioral support, epilepsy/seizure care, crisis prevention, or direct care is strongly preferred.
Compensation: $17.13 per hour
